Quite good picture from S7 Edge, right?

Woke up and went for a nice drive. Good times.

I still need to do an update post on the garage in our backyard. The lift (2 post, top bar, like 6k lb capacity) was installed, and is going to be wired up this week. We also have a gas heater hooked up, and the garage is fully insulated, so it’s very warm.

Yep. I love it. They’re becoming more popular as of late, but also getting pretty rare. Mine is the 530i wagon, which was pretty rare (~9,000 I think). Hopefully they’ll go the way of the E30 and become super valuable cars.

Yeah, great cars! If I had a full account of bank I would be driving one - or my old one - right now. ;-)

I’m actually saving up for a car at the moment. But it seems unlikely to squeeze a purchase in next year. 2018 seems to be a more realistic goal. And since I don’t need a daily driver anymore, boring things like practicality and running costs don’t actually matter. So I’m thinking about “more interesting” options. Something classic maybe...?
